By 2017 I began a several-year recovery from a mystery illness that had me fighting for my life for ten years. In that recovery time I rediscovered painting. In 2025, my heart was broken, and I wanted to die. From 2016 to now I’ve been down the rabbit hole.

As I explored an alternate vision for this show, I found myself searching for subject and content. I saw my choices each possessing a spirit, mood or personality that I was compelled to communicate. As Jeffrey and I discussed our objectives and mindset, we felt that going ‘Down the Rabbit Hole’ was a fitting title.
