20 years of the Collage Sisthars Collaborative

The Collage Sisthars (sis-TAAS) have been gathering every month for 20 years – exploring the wild world of mixed-media art and fueling each other’s creativity. As on Sisthar put it: “I have found my tribe.”

Together, they share techniques in painting, journaling, polymer clay, resin, fabric collage, jewelry, encaustic painting and more. The group includes graphic designers, bookbinders, painters, interior designers, writers, quilters, photographers, and jewlers. Some create full-tim, other when they can – but all are united by a love of paper, play and discovery.
