2026 Artists of Water Street Show Submissions
Submit your work for the December 2026 Artists of Water Street show! This is open to current Resident Artists, Clay Makers, Instructors and Artist Collective members.

ENTRY FEE
There is no entry fee for this exhibit. Thank you for being a part of our community. This show features the work of our Resident Artists, Clay Makers, and School of Art Instructors. This is a unique opportunity to come together with your cohorts and showcase your work as a collective in the gallery. We can’t wait to see what everyone has been up to over the past year!
SIZE & MEDIA REQUIREMENTS
Please read each section carefully.
3D work - You may submit up to two pieces. Works will be accepted based on size and number of submissions.
If your piece consists of multiple parts, all parts must fit together on a single 12” pedestal.
Your piece must stand securely on its own on a pedestal or on the floor. We will provide a pedestal unless we notify you otherwise.
Please note that, due to recent construction, the gallery may not have restored electrical outlets to the floor yet and consider this when submitting your works.
2D Work - You may submit up to three pieces, choosing ONE of the options below. Works will be accepted based on size and number of submissions.
Submit 3 works up to 24" in length/width each
Submit 2 works up to 36" in length/ width each
Submit 1 work up to 72" in ONE direction (length or width) and limited to 48" in the OTHER direction (width or length). All work must be able to fit through a standard door and must not weigh more than 10lbs.
Mixed Work (2D/3D) – If you would like to submit both a 2D work and a 3D work please consider the following guidelines:
You may submit one 3D work that does not exceed the width of a 12” pedestal
You may submit one 2D work that does not exceed the width or length of 36”
SUBMISSION PHOTO REQUIREMENTS
Please upload a .jpg or .png file
Please name each file saved in the following format:
ArtistName_ArtworkTitle_ExhibitName
Ex: PabloPicaso_GuitarPlayer_ArtistsofWSS
Shoot against a plain, neutral background in even lighting, with the artwork filling most of the frame.
Accepted artwork may be featured in our advertising or social media.
IMPORTANT DATES
Exhibit Runs: December 11, 2027 – January 2, 2027
Submissions Due: Sunday, November 22nd Midnight
Notifications of Acceptance: Friday, November 27th*
Artwork Drop-off: Sunday, December 6th**
Artwork Pick-up: Sunday, January 3, 2027**
Opening Reception: Friday, December 11th, 6-9pm
*Notifications may arrive after business hours, please check your spam folder.
**Artwork must be dropped off and picked up according to this schedule. Our storage space is limited. Any artwork not collected by January 3, 2027 will be considered abandoned.
NOTE:
Water Street Studios is not responsible for providing protective barriers for artwork on display. If artist desires to have protective barriers such as rope, cases, etc. it must be approved by the Gallery Committee Chair before artwork drop-off date.
WSS reserves the right to install accepted works in a manner deemed necessary for exhibition or security reasons. All work remains on exhibit for the duration of show.
