3D ART GUIDELINES

• You are welcome to submit two (2) pieces.

• If a single piece consists of multiple elements they must all fit on a single pedestal.

• Please make sure your piece sits sturdily on a pedestal or the floor. We will provide a pedestal unless otherwise notified.

• Artwork must be labeled with provided Artist Identification Form and taped to the front for easy visibility

2D ART GUIDELINES

• You are welcome to submit two (2) pieces. Individual works must not exceed 36 inches.

• Artists may have works over 36 inches but are limited to one (1) submission.

• All works are limited to 60 inches.

• Artwork must be delivered ready to hang. Canvas does not need to be framed but does need to be properly wired.

• Artwork must be labeled with provided Artist Identification Form and taped to the front for easy visibility.

PRINTS

We invite artists who are interested to provide prints outside of their formal submission. As a reminder: These works will be available for purchase during Second Friday and the duration of the Membership Show. Any unsold works must be picked up after the show has concluded.

Our print guidelines are changing to accommodate more sizes of prints. If you are interested in providing prints or would like more information on this process, please email our gallery manager at gallery@waterstreetstudios.org.

However, please note, ALL prints:

• Must be wrapped in clear plastic or cellophane

• Must have cardboard or hard insert

• Must be available for purchase

• Must be comfortable with a flip-bin style display

• Must be available for entirety of show

• Must be fully labeled with title, price, size, and artist name on back.

IMPORTANT DATES

• Exhibition Runs: April 10th- May 2nd

• Entries Open: Friday, January 30th

• Entries Close: Sunday, March 22nd (no late entries will be accepted)

• Notification of Acceptance: Friday, March 27th

• Artwork Drop-off: Monday, April 6th due to Easter Holiday

• Opening Reception: Friday, April 10th

• Artwork Pick-up: Sunday, May 3rd - Please add this to your calendar, artwork must be picked up promptly.

NOTE:

• Water Street Studios is not responsible for providing protective barriers for artwork on display. If artist desires to have protective barriers such as rope, cases, etc. it must be approved by the Gallery Committee Chair before artwork drop-off date.

• WSS reserves the right to install accepted works in a manner deemed necessary for exhibition or security reasons. All work remains on exhibit for the duration of show.

• By submitting to this show, the artist agrees to these terms of entry.
